Overtime.,, Never has there ever been in life something so despised, and yet at the same time so adored. :( I'm at the midway point currently. I am getting worn out, but know I could use the cash for bills and stuff. Well one week down, 2 more to go. At least the end of all this coincides with my 6 days off for thanksgiving/birthday. That will be nice. Now let's see if I can rack

Hard day at work. Things not going right. People moved my thawing salmon and tilapia above the steamer to thaw it faster...now 3 hours later it's been marinating in it's own liquid at a balmy 86 degrees for god knows how long. Hello mr trash can. Meet your new friend, mr 110$ worth of fish!!! 5 executive chefs and one district chef in house. Rough day. At least it'll be over at 6ish. What can I say. WOrk is crazy at the moment. A few high profile clients coming through so we are all working tons of ot. long days, but the pay will be nice. Thats really all i have to say. Im tired. Had a blast this weekend though. It was fun with pirates. ^_^

Another long day. Hopefully I'll be out by 6iah and on the road. That way I get to Ames at a reasonable hour. Work has been good.
Today is payday.

Ok, so in 2 months we go from,
overtime is allowed....to
ABSOLUTELY ZERO OVERTIME.....to
your going to be taking a few unpaid days ......to
No cap on hours and you are working saturday and sunday.......to
me saying, that as much as i would love the overtime, I have plans in Oregon this weekend and will be unable to spend 8 hours a day cleaning.
As im the one with a legitamate reason to not be at work this weekend, i woinder how it will play out. lol.
for the record, our OT was granted on an unlimited basis because there is a extremely high profile tour visiting my cafe for a potential new client, and that is QUITE LITERALLY all Im allowed to say about it. Yes, we had to sign a NDA. who knew> lol.

Hrm, Wake up at 3:34 and i feel fine. A litle dazed by the odd dream but fine.
3 hours later, im sick as a dog. Fever, chills, cant stop my digestive track from working at a rabbits pace. Something is not liking me.
Called into work though. I have no choice when I work with food and im sick. I HATE calling in sick, but what are you gonna do. I dont want to get people sick and im sure THEY dont want to be sick. *sigh*
I cant think of anything i could have eaten that made me sick, unless other people at work are also out today. EIther that, or the chicken i cooked last night was not good. I doubt that though, as i always use my meat thermometer on home cooking. Hope i feel better later.

SO, i am a tad annoyed at my subconcious and at the same time, a little apprehensive right now. So, i just woke up at 3:34 am. I was asleep, but was having.....i guess it was a bad dream. I was in a shopping plaza i used to work in in Tacoma, and im not sure exactly why i was there, but i know that Jenn was there too (although constantly taking drastic means to avoid contact with me) and so was Zoe (who was doing the same thing).
I dont know what i was doing there, but i know that i ended up needing to buy 2 wii controllers with the handgun casing for the controller, and that my mom was doing something at another (may have been target). ANyway, after i got the controller i bought subway, then i sat down.
Next thing i know i was trying to watch a tv documentry on one of those old projectors from elementry school, where you have to thread the film correctly, and it was about some film maker who never got anythying released commercially even though all his stuff wsa actually finished. At the end of the film, as it were, i realized that the film maker ws in some way related to zoe, and that she had somehow gotten 4 trillion as an inheritance. Odd huh?
Now the kinda creepy part. After all this, i broke the projector and the angry video game nerd, who happened to be over, asked me if i was stupid becuase i kept breaking the film. I think he might have tried to punch me or somethign but....snap to me being awake...
There was a loud crash in my closet, which woke me up. At 3:34 am. I went to see what it was, and my jacket...my light summer sacket which weighs next to nothing, somehow snappoed the hanger (clean break) that it was been sitting on ignored for the past few months. CLean snap, right on the neck. The odd part, is that the top part of the hanger was still on the rack. almost like it was cut off or severed.
This is not the first time ive woken up around 3:45 in the mornign either, but this was definately the oddest. Anyone else have odd things happen in the night, or an odd dream today?

Been a long week at work. Im glad tomorrow is friday because that means i get to head down to oregon to see Ame. I was going to get my hair cut today but i dont feel good at all. I hope im not getting sick. ugh.
Well, work tomorrow will be better im sure. We were very busy today and had a ton of stuff to do. I got sent home at 3:30 DUE TO OVERTIME lol, and i was fine by that. 4 hours this week. Not too shabby. ^_^
Looking forward to the weekend. I get to meet another one of Ames friends. So far they all seem to like me and thats good. Heres to good first impressions *raises wine box* Im also looking forward to next weekend. Pirate zombie party at Faiths. It is goign to be full of zombies, pirates, food and drink, and most of all fun. ^_^ YAY fun!!!

Well, here I am on lunch. It's going good, though very busy. Guess that's what happens when breakfast is 50% off. Lol. For the most part I have been pleasantly surprises with work the past month. Good review, actually got a raise (unlike last year) and my benefits cost only went up 12 a paycheck. I think that's a good thing right? Other than that I am just awaiting the weekend to head to oregon. I get to go get pumpkins and meet one pf Ames friends. Note to self. Get a haircut. ^_^
so I've been trying to think of a tag at the end of my posts and I think I got it. I'm going to put random passwords (nes) at the end. Mostly because I am a dork. Catch you all later. Narpas sword1
